Considering only a few franchises have won an NBA title in the past 35 years or so the list is small

      Celtics (no chance this year)
      Miami (No chance this year)
      Bulls (not likely now)
      Lakers (no chance this year)
      Houston (maybe)
      Spurs (maybe)
      Detroit (no chance this year)

Thats it, seven Franchises with multiple NBA championships, and other than Dallas Mavericks who werent supposed to win but refs screwed up the ONLY franchises since 1980 to win an NBA championship. Oh the 76ers that year everyone was crippled on the Lakers going into the finals and Lakers got swept.

So going by that Houston or Spurs win this year. Basically by default.

They didnt get Miami across in game 2 when Mia had a huge lead, Miami supposed to win that game and go up 2-0. But refs got caught looking around, Dirk made some 3s and then it was too late. They could have called a 3 pt foul on Wade on final shot but that would have been too obvious.

Then in game 4 Heat (Wade) kept bricking free throws and Dallas squeaked out that game too after Mia was leading fairly big in the 4th quarter. So refs did all they could there early (before it became obvious) Heat just couldnt make a fouls shot.

Then Dallas just went unconscious shooting the ball the last two games.

Game 5 Dallas couldnt miss from 3 pt range and refs were powerless that game.

Game 6 refs kept it close then Dallas made a second push and it was over.

Those games could have been moot had refs not let Mia pis away Game 2, and series would have been over if Wade could have made a free throw in game 4.

I bet Dallas that series so it isnt sour grapes. But I only bet them after I saw how the refs were trying to get Miami accross and they still couldnt win. This forum is full of my posts about it I am sure. I was still posting here then.

They say this every year and when the west has lost it's never been a fatigue factor. I'm sick of this "beat up" joke.

Agree 100%. That argument makes zero sense.

If anything despite the level of play being far inferior the Eastern Conference series are typically much more physical and take a larger toll on your body.

                        I agree with your list.

Your Spurs need to make a statement in one hour.

LeBron, and Irving, and K-Love and JR and the rest are on national TV, they respect the Spurs, but they are bringing their 'A' game tonight.

Like the Rockets and Cavs last week, I am looking forward to this one too.

If the Peli's with a 100 percent healthy Ibaka, Westbrook and, and Durant can beat any team, including the Splash boys in a seven game series.

Ibaka can block any players shot in the league, one of the most incredible shot blockers I have seen, yet gets no real high profile exposure.

I don't really like Westbrook's game (I think he's a bit of a chucker, high volume shooter, whatever you want to label it) but in the last seven weeks he has shut my mouth up about him, I conceded, I conceded, OK, allright he is the best PG in the NBA, I was wrong.

KD, when healthy, is every bit the player LeBron is.

Kanter is a nice center, nobody says he's Jabbar or Wilt, he's not, but he's a sound pivot man.
Augustine is one of the best PG's off the bench in the league too.

A 100 percent healthy OKC team has the horses to win it all.

Whens the last time a 6/7 seed won it all? Hahah not gonna happen.

And as for who I would pick I'd say the teams with legit chances to win it are...

Lebron is more physical, Durant is more agile.
Durant has never been tested like LBJ has, so we can't make the comparison until he has been battle tested like James.
Durant's jump shot is next to impossible to defend, pretty much flawless on offense.

James is an amazing decision maker, knows when to drive to the hoop and dish out or keep attacking.
One of the best ball psassing forwards since Larry Legend.

James is one of the games elites, if not the elite, but he's flawed too.
His post up game is almost non existant, how often do you see him posting up, back to the basket?
He's a lifetime shitty free throw shooter too

I have to add Golden State only because I think the 2 guards are playing lights out... and their energy should out last San Antonio if they meet. But again... just a suggestion... I also like Steve Kerr's mind. San Antonio could tire out. Ginobili isn't worth a turd this year... and he's made huge shots every playoff year.... San An needs him.

Lebron and Durant are close on offense. You could make the case for either one.

But on defense, Lebron is waaaaaaay better. Rebounding, Lebron is waaay better. Therefore...

Lebron > Durant and its not even close.
