ESPN's Adam Caplan says there's "mutual interest" between the Eagles and free agent RB DeMarco Murray.

Perhaps this isn't as far-fetched as it sounds. The Eagles are still flush with cap space despite taking on fellow Oklahoma product Sam Bradford and they just missed out on Frank Gore. Meanwhile, Murray's market seems to include only the Cowboys, Jaguars and possibly Raiders. The Eagles RB depth chart currently reads Chris Polk, Darren Sproles, Matthew Tucker.

I think we hear something today regarding Demarco. He met last night with Jason Garrett in a private room at the Mavs game.

I'd hate to see him go, especially to an NFC east rival. But if they throw enough money at him, who could blame him? The cowboys aren't going to overpay for a running back. And I 100% feel like that's the right decision.
RB's just aren't worth it.
