Wix.com, razors (not Gillette either, some weird fly-by-night brand), copperwear, a few more I can't think of. He's about a year away from doing commercials for bail bondsmen and smoke shops.

So what do you think it is? Drugs? Gambling? HOFers will usually get broadcasting gigs, and those who can't will start up some kind of business or just do nothing at all and sit on their money. Nobody gets this desperate.

Exactly. He's just stockpiling the $$ for his family. He's aware that there is a brand diluting factor to taking any and every paying job that comes along but he also realizes its not an impact now that his playing days are over. He can just rack up the work in his free time.

I mean come on...if you were him and nothing better to do than coach high schoolers, play blackjack at the casinos in nearby Biloxi and fish all the time....why wouldn't you take a half day to bank $100k to say a few words for some product and then stick the day's pay in your daughters' accounts to make sure they are ahead in life.
