Not sure. When I made this thread the twins were not a factor. I know one thing for sure. The tigers won't make the playoffs.

We're in that weird part of the year where things look upside down throughout the MLB.

This happens every year. The teams doing well through the first 81 will go on some bad streaks and the perennial playoff teams will go on some tremendous runs.

At this time last year, the Royals were 2 games under .500 and the top 5 (six because of ties) teams in the MLB were

1.Giants
2. Tigers
3. (tie) Bluejays
3. (tie) Brewers
4. (tie) Angels
4. (tie) Atlanta

Come the end of the season, the Jays, Brewers and Braves finished with 83, 82 and 79 wins respectively, finishing 14th, 15th and 16th in the league overall in terms of W/L record.

3.5 games out in a division (heck whole league) is greatly flawed. They got as good a chance as anyone else in American for division or wildcard

KC has 2 wins for the last 10 i guess its time to call them out also and let MIN and CHIW run away with it. Detroit always has this slump in the middle of the season which we arent even halfway into the season. Pitching is set back for DET a little this year, I cant deny that but there bats alone will take them to the postseason saying otherwise must think every team has a ACE-trio.

Detroit is toast. They are missing major key ingredients to make a run. Won't even make playoffs.

Ausmus showed me what kind of coach he is already. During that losing streak... could of been avoided... Maybe a 3 or 4 game losing streak... but during that one game against the Angels... he made so many poor mistakes... 3 or 4 tigers were either picked off or thrown out stealing. The guy just doesn't have what it takes.

Sure they started out good. Everyone was hot. Now everyone is COLD. What do you do as a manager? That's why you were hired. When a team is cold... how do you get them started again? It's your job and he sucks.
