Cmon pal just make a thread about how you're optimistic about the Mets and that they're gonna overachieve this year and to ride them when they're hot bla blah....

This futures bet, no matter how you slice it, is a waste of life and not economically wise unless someone is just a degen and needs to find a way to tie up $50 bucks that he/she will lose.

I work at a place where the avg salary is like 65k we have one local that handles our guys he is solid. You can place future bets and not tie up money thats his strongest pt ....so no its not a 50 dollar bet Its not a bad bet if it ties up no money and its worth while

At times I bet 50/100 its a hobby for me not my life hanging by a thread on a game lol. There have been times in my life I bet as
much as 10k which I did once and took an unreal beat but that was because I made a score on a trifecta and wanted to push. Mostly ill do ml parlays sometimes they get up there like 1.5 2 k but thats if im rolling with there money. My avg str play probably 100

If a bettor only makes -EV bets, the fact that it is a 9 month prop is actually better for them than if it were a bet on 1 game. The bettors net expected value over 9 months is greater making 1 bet than multiple bets.

Sure doesn't make it right. You can wait longer to lose or win peanuts.

I guess it depends what your expected win rate is on these futures. If you hit 60% at -135 you're going to get roughly 12 percent return on your 7 month investment. So if the opportunity investment cost isn't greater than that 12% then it's not a bad place to put your money. Obviously if your win rate is greater so goes that return.

And konck if you don't have to actually tie any $ up with a local then it's that much more solid.
