    From my Twitter feed:

From the Playbook Basketball Newsletter:The Phoenix Suns are 9-1 SU and 10-0 ATS on Mondays versus losing opponents.

First off: Marc Lawrence is just touting his publication, nothing wrong with that.
Second: That is a statistical aberration, BUT it may have cosmic significance. So, you can only use it as a bet verifier or a bet killer.

    Any other notions?

Does that mean that there is no reason to handicap, or bet, because you will lose the vig?

No one has ever had a gambling problem, only a losing problem - it should be called Losers Anonymous.

After the trade deadline I don't know if they are the same team anymore. Giving up 7.5 to a scrappy Celtics team is not ideal, even if Boston played in LA last night. What if Evan Turner actually makes his shots tonight?
