and MLK was a great man, crazy to think where the country could be today with him still around. But, that is exactly the same thoughts many had which is why they had him killed.

It's not about white or black, it's about great films... What about 12 Years a Slave? That movie took Best Picture last year. And Lupita Nyong'o took best actress.
