I think the top 3 in their rotation can be the top AL pitching trio

what would you like to know?
They are balanced. They dont have any real weakness and there is not any phase of the game that they are completely dominant in either.
They will score runs. Their front end of the rotation is solid but the back end lacks quality depth. The Bullpen should be pretty decent.
There is a lot of hype and optimism surrounding this team but i think most of it stems from the perceived weakness of last years AL Central front runners the Tigers losing Scherezer and the Royals losing Shields.
Can they win the World Series? its possible but i think atleast 7 teams in the AL have a better chance those 7
1. Mariners
2. Tigers
3. Blue Jays
4. Red Sox
5. Angels
6. Indians
7. Yankees

Living in Royal Country I can tell you the myopic KC fans are definitely concerned...and I think the pitching staff up front will be very competitive...sending out Sale, Samardzija, and Quintana.....and adding Robertson to the bullpen helps. Also adding LaRoche, Melky, and Bonifacio to the mix anyone who doesn't think they can't make some noise in the Central is kidding themselves.

Bear the only two teams on your list that scare me a little are the Tigers because of their their physical issues with some of key offensive players and question marks with starting pitching because just not sure with Verlander (though reports are he's added 20 pounds of muscle) Price, Simon, and Sanchez? Also the Yanks, and I'm a Yankee fan...I just see a trainwreck coming with the pitching staff as Tanaka's arm and not a whole lot behind him.

yeah i guess i am a little biased b/c i don't like Jeff Samardizja b/c he went to Notre Dame and he just seems like a major Douche bag but the guy can pitch.
He is extremely tough on right handed batters b/c of that crazy arm angle. And I'm sure no left handed hitter likes facing Chris Sale.
Mike Trout did hit a ball about 500 feet off Sale though last year when Sale tried to sneak a low change-up past Trout.
The thing about Trout is he is an excellent low ball hitter but he cannot hit the high stuff.
Trout's .269 batting average from Aug. 24 to the end of the season is a warning sign that the wheels are due to come off.
Throw him and High Heat and he can be beat. I expect the AL West pitchers to try to exploit this weakness.

Better question is - what do we think
Of Giolito? Seems rattled by this sticky stuff ban, but he also really wants to prove doubters wrong.
Does he get right v the Orioles?
Reasons to take him:
-Locked in/ wants it bad
-Might go back to the sticky stuff at any given time...
Not to take him:
He’s a shell of himself w/o the substance - continue to fade....
