ive found several spots this year where i was happy to bet against uk, only reason i passed w uga is cause they so thin up front when thorton was out (and they still covered). tigers pretty thin up front after mickey and martin but my biggest worry is their pg is very inconsistent, really think they should roll with the fresh patterson more and a lot less of gray who for some reason likes taking shitty shots when he not just turning it over. you cant do that against uk cause then they be out in transition getting easy baskets.. tend to agree with gold and NC, id expect lsu to rise to the occasion. it them or nothing..Comment -

Coach you are spot on. IF UK loses any game the rest of regular season it will be today.
LSU is a streaky team, but will obviously give their all tonight to take down the big guy on campus. They got 7footers to stick in and excellent 6'10" forward Martin and 6'8" Mickey. Good sized guards, Hornsby who can make big shots. Most of their losses have been close games.
UK is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 SEC games, for you trend guys. They just sweated out and won a 'big' game in the swamp on Saturday against the college game day crowd and (usually) rival Gators (who suck this year). Now they got a quick turnaround and this may be one of those spots where they don't totally have their foot on the gas. Coach Cal keeps giving Andrew more pt than Ulis or Booker, and Willie won't keep hitting his FTs.

One last thought, LSU has an excellent recruiting class coming in next year, with I believe a 5-star McDonalds All American and 4-star already committed. This is an excellent spot for them to make their mark and make a HUGE impact on future recruiting. Meanwhile UK is continuing their journey towards making history and remaining undefeated.Comment -
This is a circled game for UK. I fully expect them to come out and try to throttle LSU tonight. Careful Dom, I think the line has a better chance of hitting 9.5 than it does 10.5. Not sure what book you have but I'm thinking that with even a 10 or 10.5 line, the books need money on Kentucky. Even your book (unless it's dealing a horrible, high vig line) appears to be looking for Kentucky bets.
The line could fall, the underdog bettor with +10.5 or +11 is in pretty good shape here.
Buying +9.5 later in the day would really put one on the shit end of the value stick. In the long haul, this difference in value can be the difference between winning and losing.

I to like LSU and the Over. New to college basketball but very good in football. I think LSU is going to put a good game together at home and make it atleast an 8-9 point game, and higher scoring around 136 to 137 (edit I had 146) total points. Could be wrong won't be the first time.Comment -
