Looks Like We Have Another Broke Ex-Athlete
A Super Bowl ring that Baltimore Ravens owner Stephen Bisciotti gave to former running back Jamal Lewis was sold in an auction for $50,820 on Sunday morning.

The ring, which is made out of 10K white gold and has 3.75 carats worth of diamonds, was consigned to the auction by a pawn shop who Lewis sold the ring to.

They really need to pay some of these athletes their guaranteed money over a 25-30 year period. More and more of these stories every year.

Wonder what the pawn shop paid him for it.

Before anyone turns professional at anything, there needs to be a mandatory class in money management and real life. Dude cashed a lotto ticket and is now essentially unemployable.

I don't think he is broke due to assests he may own, but he is probably hurting for cash. It's still sad that a person who made millions over a short period has to pawn once in a life time valuables.

Fairly certain this is already the case for the NFL.
