1) Phoenix is second in the league in tempo (Pace, number of possessions per game, whatever you want to label it) only GSW plays more of an uptempo.

2) The last four weeks Portland has been getting outrebounded by 7 boards a game on the average.

3) Portland percentage of gaining available rebounds is 46.9 percent, which is attrocious.

4) Portland's opponents have been sinking 3 pointers at an alarming rate as of late.

5) Portand is 3 and 8 in their last 11, including the loss to these very same Suns 118 - 113
Suns won't drop a 118 bomb this time in their building, but they'll drop 108.
If they don't drop 104, this will be my first loss all week.

I agree 100% , i don"t know why ppl dont play team totals more often on here.. both teams like to play a fast paced game & shoot the 3 ball.. phoenix could very easily be on 90pts @ 3qtr time

I hear ya, Portland played good defense to open the year, it's not like they are not capable, however, they are horseshit on the boards lately, still looking at 208 or 209.

I don't force plays, this is not a forced play.

The Blazers haven't had Robin Lopez the last 4 weeks and have had to play guys like Dorell Wright and Thomas Robinson out of position, forcing Aldridge to play outside his comfort zone as well. Neither of those guys even cracked the rotation when Lopez came back last game and they outrebounded Utah 45-41. Utah has the 2nd-highest rebound rate in the league (52.3%).

And Portland is on the backend of a 2 and 2.

The matchup that doesd bother me is RoLo on Len.
Lopez may eat him up.

Also, if you break down the Suns last 10, they put up 101 against a team that plays solid defense, Memphis.
Laid an egg against GSW, yes, beat Chicago, beat Washington, stunk out the joint against the Clips, and before that were shooting lights out for a couple of weeks.

Nothing is a lock, but I see no reason why Phoenix can't drop a 108 bomb tonight.

Cool, just wanted to mention it since the rebounding thing seemed like a significant factor for you--wasn't ripping the play at all. Actually considering the Suns myself. Plus, RoLo only played 25 mins last game and probably isn't 100% since he came back pretty quickly after he was expected to be out until after the All Star break. GL nasher.
