I know some people need to make everything partisan, but this is not a partisan republicans v. democrats issue. You can find many pols on both sides of the aisle supporting and opposing this issue.
No one fought harder to expand sports gambling than Christie, who is a republican. The federal government, currently run by a democrat, fought him every step of the way.
Christie gets it. He has seen How AC has been affected by all the racinos that have opened up by the nearby states and he's trying to get legalized sports betting to revitalize AC and the casinos and also talk of the Meadowlands. He's a big proponent to creating new jobs and bringing in much need revenue and not raise taxes. He also is a proponent to dispensing medicinal marijuana to people in severe pain and patients with seizures, etc. Christie has called out the NBA commissioner to drop the lawsuit against NJ to legalize sports betting since he's gone public now to legalize it. May have a shot to be our next prez

Awesome news! I have full confidence that it will pass and when it does all you addicts on SBR will have no choice but to find something a lot more wholesome and enjoyable to do. More importantly, poor JJ will have to stop his blood sucking ways and find another job. It's a win win situation.
Thank you very much congressman, I am in full support of you.

He loves sports gambling.
With all his faults I tell you there will come a day
when ppl wish he was our President again, and that's
coming from a guy who didn't vote for him either time.

There can be many reasons for posting on a gambling forum. I haven't gambled for almost a year now and my time spent here is to educate you degenerate fools on the evils of it. You might want to find some other degenerate activity to do when they finally get this cancer called online gambling banned for once and for all. It's about time they take take a more proactive stance.

The people who own brick and mortar casinos oppose online gambling and are bribing, I mean donating money, to Utah Senator to pass their bill. Land of the free and home of the brave.

Sad but true.
The only people worse than the scumbag Democrats are the scumbag Republicans.

We need a political party in America that is not controlled by the super-rich.

If sportsbetting happens in USA will have to be within next 3 years or it will never happen
The issue is lawyers and politicians that will tie it up and look for bribes, ect

They will legalize heroin before they do sports betting. And I'm fine with that.
