Adam Silver On Cover Of ESPN Magazine This Week With Subject Of Gambling
    Here is the article:

When NBA commissioner Adam Silver declared his support for legalized sports betting in November 2014, he changed the game for the other leagues. But will it be enough to move the line? David Purdum explores in ESPN The Magazine's Gambling Issue.

After seeing other social issues like legalized marijuana, and gay marriage, jump into public acceptance in the USA, I see it only a matter of time before gambling is embraced also. With a sports commissioner talking candidly about it, it can do nothing but accelerate the process, in my eyes. How long do you guys give it?

I think it will be accessible in the states within 5 years, along with prostitution.

It's there already. Why let it be legal and ruin a good thing.

I'm just thrilled Adam Silver is so open about it. You never hear a commissioner so open about gambling. It's a start no matter what way you look at it. I'm with you KLC... it's just a matter of time now. The USA will regulate the sh#$ out of it... and tax it... but one day it will be available.

If they are concerned about the integrity of the game then just open it to bet foreign sports like soccer and tennis.

I can see it now. Places that do tax returns will offer customers cash, bud, or load your online account. Prolly offer a nugget or freeplay to drive in business.
