I pretty much use the force, and do 2-4 team ML parlays for fun. Actually I'm ahead doing that this year. Just curious what everyone looks for when doing single bets.

#5Props for this thread Mr KLC
all too often we have posters posting plays with no reasoning whatsoever
Threads like this are great.
The main thing i look at is how a team has been playing lately. I like to bet on hot teams and teams that are showing signs of improvement.
Take the Hornets for example... i liked them the last couple games bc they seem to be getting contributions from the bench and guys like Cody Zeller, Gerald Henderson and MKG have been really coming into their own.Comment -

#12I look at the level of opponent they are playing....like how a team plays against elite teams, average teams, terrible teams, etc... How they've been playing recently, and home or away. And injuriesComment -

#21For the most part you'll find more edges in half (1H/2H) lines and, in some cases, quarter lines. Pay attention to 1H pace, ref manipulation, fts, shooting percentages and prior days travel/play and you can make some good $$ on soft 2H lines.Comment
