I apologize, didnt mean you attended bash by yourself. My point was more that at any event you attended you and your guest sat in the corner away from the rest of the group. Now if you were off in the corner screwing during the entire duration of the superbowl I guess explains it a little better but the few times I saw over there the two of you were just sitting.

As far as the poker level maybe it was not three minutes but probably within the first five hands(how long they took to deal is a whole different issue). I now have a dominating lead on the SBR Bash poker leaderboard.

My point was more for someone who spends as much time as you do on this site yapping about whatever that you would have been more social and not been a lock for anti social almost weird couple that sits in the corner in the back of the room by themselves the whole time. Triple spends a lot of time going back and fourth and when it came to poster events was very social and outgoing so it made sense, you on the other hand acted like you spoke a different language and even when you were making your cameo made it from the corner where it was dark and people couldnt see you. Again, to each his own just expected more from a keyboard warrior such as yourself.

He was SB on a raise if he just calls w his AQ a Q flopped and he's shoving anyway. Bad luck he went against AA. I shoved AK vs 66 and lost. That's poker.

With regard to being social, here's a novel idea. Why not go and approach him yourself and say hi? Other than the 2 or 3 people I met and hung out with, I didn't meet everyone either and I consider myself a very social person. Some people are not. So instead of asking the guy about it In person, you wait until you're behind the keyboard again? Makes sense.

USC...first it was nice meeting you at the bash. However, I saw no reason to go out of the way to talk to waves since he's been the guy that has always been right on the message boards. No humility whatsoever. So I didn't want to take time to be the one to approach a guy that just seems SO full of himself. Maybe if his attitude were to change here, I'd reconsider. But not before that.

I have talked to Bobby Waves on the phone and the kid on the phone was chatty so a good kid.

Maybe he was mad at some guys for forum shit?? I do hold grudges and at one time I did not talk to Sasha for 3 months because online he said I was small (5-4) by the way in a vicious battle we were having.

I met Booya in person and we had lunch, the kid paid for a great meal, now of course when in Book I thought it was strange he opens his luggage on rug and goes through everything to get to his HS year book and showed me HS football photos..he was very persistent to show me , I would meet that kid again.

Now as far as group action I probably would sit in corner and not talk, I freeze up i person and go into phobia mode especially fearing raccoons and thinking they follow me round and are in every corner and under my bed all the time although no need to go into that right now. The point is I am very weird in person,,kind of fit the type of an online keyboard warrior that loves isolation .

But I'm obviously not going to ignore my guest who can't communicate with the majority of English speaking people there, just so I can approach others & strike up conversations with people who may have pre judged & not like me anyway. My vision is poor, so for me to pick & choose who I wanted to chat with looking at name tags wasn't an option unfortunately.

If there was assigned seating during SuperBowl, I would have taken my seat & chatted pregame, during commercials, & post game. But for the most part, I'm not even talking to my guest when the Big Game is on.

I don't get it bobbo...i counted at least 8 guys there with impeccable spanish, and probably another half dozen like me who can string enough words together to hold a conversation. Why sit in the corner and not talk to your guest when you could mingle and let her maybe have a good time too?

What you don't get would fill a rather large book when it comes to poker So let's replace my "i dont get it' with "no rational person gets it"; nothing after those first couple words has changed, and your decision to isolate yourself for your stated reasons still doesn't make sense. Glad you had a blast on your vacation, but was it really worth going out of your way just for a poker freeroll, a superbowl squares freeroll and a couple of free nights at a resort? If these are driving forces behind your vacations, perhaps you should consider "retiring' at an income more in line with what most of us consider reasonable.
