During Deion's time they had the 10 yard bump and run rule, and the Refs let the defense played more. Not sure he would fair much better then Richard Sherman or even Champ Bailey in his prime. In Deion's time, Jerry Rice Michael Irvin and maybe Chris Carter were the elite receivers. By the time Randy Moss came, Deion was almost pass his prime. Their really wasn't any good 6'3 or taller receiver's in the 90's.

Deion in his prime could cover anybody but Gronk................who is uncoverable and Shaq-like on the football field. Still the best I have ever seen with my own two eyes. Deion baited qb's into interceptions or if he covered the opponents number 2 receiver he would shut him out for the game.

Deion would probably give up more receptions now with the new rules which favor receivers and QB's.... but he'd still be the best CB today. They might go at him more often with receivers like AJ Green, Megatron, Mike Evans..... guys with size that can kind of box out and either win a jump-ball or draw a penalty

Deion, without a shadow of a doubt, is the best cover-corner that ever lived... Put every player that ever lived against the fence, playground style draft, and Deion is a top 5 pick, no question in my eyes, guy would let WRs get open just so they would throw his way. Deion might have been the fastest player with pads on that everplayed. I heard he ran a 4.5 40 yard dash backpeddling...

Why do people like Deion Sanders and Terrell Owens keep their bodies in such great shape??? Like... outstanding athletic shape... when they have nothing to shoot for??? I don't get it?

Are they hoping that a great big meteor kills the current NFL Roster?

                  I just don't get it.

I mean have a juicy triple cheeseburger from McDonalds. It's ok to let go now.

You are talking the exceptions. Not the rule. Most ex athletes can't wait to get fat or get off the stuff that made them so great

No chance he would have been as good as he was during his era, mainly due to the rules being so pro to the offense now. He would still be great though.

Deion was a great cover man but he couldn't tackle to save his life.
That is why he is definitely NOT the best corner ever.

This is typical big media talk. Form your own opinion and stop letting the likes of Charles Barkley make your opinion for you. So many sheep on SBR now a days.

Richard Sherman can only play one part of the field unlike Primetime

Richard Sherman did not have the speed of Primetime

Richard Sherman is not the kick returner, punt returner, wide receiver, and even running back that Primetime was

Richard Sherman benefits from having an amazing defense around him

Primetime was an athlete on every side of the football
