Kearse raced through the endzone, past the cameras and cheerleaders, straight through the tunnel and into the lockerroom, where LeBron James was getting ready for game 5 of the NBA finals. The Cavs were down 3-1 to the Suns, and LeBron looked at Jermain and said, "Boy, this ain't our time", and he handed Jermain his 2015 Eastern Conference title ring... Jermain took that ring, polished it off, and glared deep into the ember stone... in that stone, Jermain saw a faint glimpse of Bo Ryan puffing on a victory cigar, sitting on the shoulders on Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker. Kearse wiped the tear from his brow and returned to the field...
