Happens all the time in college hoops. Guys are bad free throw shooters and can't handle pressure defense.

Yeah, the last bucket didn't matter to everyone... but for others it was difference between a push and a win/loss. Iowa State backers had to be chapped at the way the game ended (even those laying 5.5) considering the Cyclones had a cozy 21 point lead in the 2nd half.
