I don't know much about the conflict, but from what I read it all pointed towards Russia being the aggressors. From lying about having troops in Ukraine and supplying rebels with weapons and knowledge after Ukrainians wanted less dependency on Russian economy. But that's what Ive read. What you read is never the whole story.
