Duke is a private school with less than 2,500 students

Students dont come there bc they like the basketball team

I think he is good with the Pro players. He won the gold for US team. Not his fault that the kids in college don't know the fundamentals. Kobe said that Euro players have more skills in high school than US kids. US kids only know how to dunk and can't shoot, block out or make proper screens.

They have like a tent city during basketball season outside the stadium

It's the attitudes of the one and done players that is hurting his program. Never thought he would go that route, but he did. He has a system and it takes time for him to get his players to buy in to his system. A one year player won't work in his system. He is used to kids being around 4-5 years and embracing Duke system.

This. Problem is, ever moron McDonald's A-A these days thinks he should be a one-and-doner, so if you're Coach K, you almost have no choice but to recruit these cats. They come in for one year even though they don't want to and leave you high and dry, only to never be heard from again. Part of the reason the NBA is such a garbage product these days; a bunch of children who aren't ready to play.
