Seems like an easy way to make money in NBA... nobody plays defense anymore

Over, under, ML, spread, whatever, I find the NBA challenging to make money with. Never really assessed the NBA in playoff time. I wonder if the defences tighten up when wins/losses matter. Whats that old saying. Offence sells tickets, but defence wins championships.
