Eddie George Jr with track speed. He is the difference in the game. Oregon has nothing for the kid.

The 3 best running backs in the country for the doak walker award were from the big 10. Elliot wasn't one of them. I'm in SEC country. It was all about yeldon, Henry, gurley, and mike Davis.

this guy will definitely get more coverage next year. no one was talking about this guy, maybe in columbus, but i don't recall anyone mentioning him on a national scale. not even on that show that comes on at 2 in the morning after the saturday slate is done with mark may and lou holtz arguing about shit.

Thank YOU for bringing in a sense of realism to the thread. Before the big 10 championship game nobody outside of Columbus was talking about Elliot as the key to a championship. All the ones talking about knowing who he is as a household name is full of shit.

Yeah, I said it before the playoff started that Ohio State, win or lose vrs Bama, was gonna be loaded for years to come. I also said before the playoff started that Ohio State was the fastest team in the country. We are completely loaded at the skill positions on offense, Im talking loaded. Any of our studs could go down (we lost 2 QBs this year), but we literally go 3 deep at QB, 4 deep at RB, and 6 deep at WR. And all those guys except 2 are back. Our offensive line was our weakness vrs Virginia Tech, but you want to talk about a unit that has improved? Looked what we have done offensively vrs 4 top ten teams (Wisconsin, Alabama, Oregon, Michigan State). 42, 42, 59, 49 (yeah that would be pts scored). 538, 537, 558, 568 (that would be total yards). SO yeah, 48 pts a game and 550 yards vrs 4 top ten teams. average score 48-23... DOMINATION SONS... The new Alabama of college football has arrived... Urban Meyer is the best college coach in history...
PS : All you motherfukking Ohio Stae haters, who let your bias bullshit stubborn thinking ways cloud your judgement and cost yourselves a shitload of money betting on Ohio State, go fukk yourself. Don't come back unless you are gonna bow down. Any fool could see that Ohio State was at minimum an even money shot vrs Oregon. Im not getting into it, but any fool with no bias could see an assload of value in that +180 moneyline. But no, you let your pride stand in the way on making money. Thats why you will never make moneyline betting, and that is why you will always be a loser. You cant admit when you are wrong, and you let that stigma ride with you on every bet you make. You are doomed from the very begininng...

Urban Meyer develops his depth throughout the season to prepare for big games and to overcome adversity (injuries). When a guy goes down, that next guy is more experienced than your usual backup. This is why you see Buckeyes have some close games in the regular season, its because Urban doesn't run the starters ragged in week 4. He gets te rotations going early in games. That's why come Michigan week and the postseason, Ohio state is fresher than the opposition and also more deep. Huge strategic advantage to have a plethora of options at every position, and to have them all as fresh as you can be 14 games into a season. Urban knows how to win championships and he goes for it all every year... knows how to get his teams peaking at the perfect time

How dominant was Elliott? According to ESPN Stats & Information tracking, he had 171 rushing yards before contact, more than Oregon's total rushing yards (132). Most of his damage came between the tackles, where he gained 213 yards, the third-highest total by a player from a Power 5 team this season.
