I think it opened 71.5? in Vegas and got bet up but I could be wrong. 70+ seems absurd but the way Oregon scores it will take a decent sized harry bean bag to pull the trigger on an under. Ohio st will slow it down a bit and Oregon doesnt play real aggressive defensively so I dont think the big "shot" plays down the field will be open. Also, these big games tend to start slow unless there are turnovers. One slow qtr with a 70+ total and you are cookedComment -
is the public really on the under?????
i am seeing public on the under now at vegasinsider.com but that makes no sense with the line moving up 3 points.... earlier last week i could have sworn the majority was on the over.

I honestly dunno which side is public/sharp on the total Bear. All the data I see is basically 50/50, but like I said in earlier post, someone liked the over on the vegas number at 71.5 so there was "maybe" value around that number on the Over. The bowl games this year as a whole have been cruising over the total so it seems hard to take an Under here. Kinda like what twoways said about the time to prepare is shorter here etc so I'd lean Under but I've got enough invested on the sides that I won't be playing it. Good luckComment -
