Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker is considering retirement, according to Mike Garafolo of FOXSports.com. Years of head injuries and declining production have led the 33-year-old wide receiver to consider walking away from the game.
One of the sources said no final decision has been made by the pending free agent but Welker has told friends, family, and associates that he’s giving the notion some serious thought.
Also read that Manning will more than likely come back, but Broncos might consider dropping him if there is any hint of a problem with his physical. The thinking is he would only be there one more year anyway.

According to Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, sources close to the team tell him there's a "big question" about whether the Broncos want Manning back in 2015.
"The ultimate decision on whether [Manning] plays in Denver next season is up to the Broncos," he says.
The team could fail Manning's physical "for any reason," Cole reported. The four neck surgeries Manning has had in the past could be a factor. If the Broncos fail Manning's physical the quarterback's $19 million salary in 2015 will no longer be guaranteed.
"They're going to have to feel very comfortable about this," Cole says.
