Most probably already know this, but for those that don't, be sure to turn off your cellular data and data roaming. If not, you could be hit with some big roaming fees.

You can go online to your cellular provider and have data roaming turned off permanently. That way you never have to fret.

I would recommend having smaller denominations of US dollars, if you are coming from USA, for tips, etc. if not, they will change you out in the local currency and you will lose out on the exchange rate guaranteed
