    Back-to-Back Games and Over/Unders
How does the 2nd game of a back to back game affect an NBA or NHL team? Specifically over/unders? I think for basketball, they play less strenuous defense, so they play a bit worse and the total goes up a bit, hockey I'm not sure. Maybe just less scoring overall, and games go under more? Or perhaps same as NBA and less defense is played.

I have no idea, those are my hypotheses. Thoughts?

You're asking the wrong question. The real question is how do back-to-back games affect pace/tempo?

I think it depends on a team. The Nets for example play in a even slower pace, working the shot clock. Heat work the same IMO. Other teams play faster, at least I think so, no stats to confirm.
