#5Baylor won that game because they had 120 snaps. TCU simply ran out of gas. Average team has 70-80 snaps per game

#11It wasn't even a bad loss for TCU anyways, in fact it was the best loss of all of the 1 loss teams. The cries for 8 teams will be even louder come tomorrow night. If you are going to do this playoff, you need at least 1 team from each conference and a few wild cards. It is actually harder to come up with 4 teams then 2, this new system will have a controversy every year, when you get down to 8 and 9 fighting, we are far down enough that it wont matter.Comment -

#15And do not forget a clear interference call missed on TCU last drive 3rd down, forcing them to punt. And on ensuing final drive, Baylor got the flag on 3rd down on a way less clear play.Comment -

#17If I was Gary Patterson I would do a little number on the committee and ESPN after the game since they said he has handled the drop out of the Top 4 with "Class and Dignity". He should give them the ole "We did our talking on the field" and "those who sat behind closed doors and dropped us from 3 to 6 can shove it up your ass"....but he's too cool of a guy to do thatComment -

#22I think michigan state has defensive backs that can hang with them. I still have reservations about baylor. They don't seem to do well in bowl games. Michigan state will play their best game because they got beat in their two most important games.Comment -

#24Special how? They may rank high statistically, but that has a lot to do with the level of competition they've faced. They're good, but I don't think they're "special." Last year's Sparty defense was special, but they've taken a step back with the loss of Darqueze Dennard, Max Bullough, Denicos Allen, and Isaiah Lewis.
The two truly elite offenses Michigan State has faced, that compare favorably with Baylor's offense, were Oregon and Ohio State... and Sparty got shredded in each of those games, giving up 47 and 49 points respectively, and over 1000 yards combined.
So how do you realistically expect them to contain the #1 offense in college football, in a de facto home game, on a fast track? Michigan State can win this game, but they are going to have to trade punches offensively... they aren't going to put the clamps on Petty and company.Comment
