It has broken through many of it's historical plateau levels at is sitting just above $16 bucks. The next plateau is $12, then $10, $8 and $4.
I doubt it makes it to $8....too many people out there understand it's value, but I think there is a chance it makes it through $12 with only a small bounce. My estimate is that we will see the bottom on silver in 6-8 months.
The world's demand for industrial silver in 2015 will be 890 million ounces and this will go up 5-8% for the next 5 years minimum. The best thing about Silver that is is being used in applications that make it impossible to recapture (phones, tablets, tvs, computers, etc). It is the most highly conductive material that can be found in any abundance on this planet.....
If you listen to the doomsdayers you will hear that the earth will be out of Au by 2035....do I believe this? Nope....I assume that we will just keep mining our poor earth to death and coming up with other spots to mine for hundreds of years, BUT there will always be scares.
In 2011 silver skyrocketed to $50 an ounce because of a 'scare' about reserves. It will happen again....soon.....and probably to a level higher than $50. If you want a chance to 3x, 5x or maybe even 10x your investment over 2-4 years.....buy silver. I am buying some on it's way down, but in smaller amounts. At $10 I will make a major buy.....in fact, I will use every asset I have to hoard the shit.
Oh, and don't buy futures....buy the real deal. 100 ounce bricks if you can afford it and have a great place to store it and some coinage for fun. You have kids? Give them a 1 ounce silver piece every week instead of an allowance.
