Big move in that game in the hour before that news broke, line moved out from -3 to -4 for KC then suddenly Smith out and down to a Pickem pretty much.

As much as a I like Smith, I don't think the difference between him and Daniel is 4 points. Smith has gotten progressively worse as this year as good on and in a conservative, run first offense I don't see much of a difference at all between these two. In fact, I think they can get the ball down field more, with Daniel. I think this line will get bet back up and close at -2.

what??? What does this even mean??? The NFL staged Alex smiths injury, and phoned into SAn Fran and told harbuagh to have his defence let up and piss away their 3+ TD lead because we "need" San Diego in the playoffs. Sounds about right .

The more that I think about it, I don't think the Chiefs will lose much with Daniel at the helm. Alex Smith is a game manager and is not asked to do a whole lot. KC has a great running game and SD gave up 350+ on the ground last week to SF. The Chargers ability to stop the run will be the key to the game.

A Chiefs buddy of mine thinks that KC is starting Daniel to increase his trade value. He says that KC will release him if they can't trade him during the offseason due to the fact that KC has Aaron Murray and Tyler Bray and Daniel makes A LOT more than those 2. With a slight shot at the playoffs still, I don't agree with his take but it might have some merit.

Be careful.....how many times have you seem a team that has to win to get into playoffs, get beat?? KC has a very good defense and SD Oline is suspect....Rivers gets hit a lot and I can see KC playing a very spirited game here and controlling the line of scrimmage and pressuring Rivers all day. Daniels is more then capable of running this West Coast offense. I may take a shot if line keeps moving to SD.....have won many times going against must win games and seems many are on SD already......
