what didnt happen in that game is the better question. 7 turnovers JJ it was the sloppiest football game i have ever watched. At the end of the game SD State missed about a 20 yard field goal and the SD State kicker had been the one player on the field the whole night that looked like he has a chance to play in the NFL...
i think coach messed him up though bc he had to kick it from the left hash mark and he had been kicking from the right hash markComment -

duckshit, go look at the other SDST/Navy threads...We've already discussed this topic ad nauseum...and yes, I agree with every thing you say...I mentioned coach Rocky Long had Navy (+3) with his bookie...You are in chip shot range and decide to go for it on 4th and 6 when an easy FG would give your team a 19 -14 lead and force Navy to have to score a TD to beat you?!!...Easily one of the worst and egregious coaching decisions I have ever seen.Comment -

of'course...it's just aggravating as hell when you make a good decision, on the right side, and everything falls into place only to have a coach make a horrible and egregious call that costs you the game and more importantly the cover...if you didn't see the game last, SDST was winning late in the 4th quarter 16 - 14 and the coach Long decided to inexplicably go for it on 4th and 6 when a chip shot 28 yd FG would have given the Aztecs a 19 - 14 lead and would have forced Navy to score a TD to beat you...One of the biggest coaching blunders I have ever seen...my only rationale is that the coach Long must have had Navy (+3) with his bookie...You can't handicap for things like that.Comment -
