How Do Pros Get Started?

I'm 33 years old and I work in financial services for a fortune 500 company. I've always loved sports and numbers and I've realized at this point in life I can combine these two loves to make money. I've started tracking my winnings over a three year time frame and as you can see below, I've done very well.

I have a family so I don't have funds to start betting thousands or even hundreds of dollars a game, but I'd like to bet more than I currently am. I can't pack up and move to Vegas and I'm not sure how much I trust offshore sites with big sums of cash, so what are my best options? Ideally I would pick up a phone and call Vegas, but that's obviously not doable. Any feedback anyone has would be great.

Don't believe the Hype. Keep betting on a small scale. You will be better off long term.

Oh I'm happy just padding my income with some side gambling, but I'd like to bet more than I currently am. Are offshore sites dependable or will they cut you off after a while?

If I were good enough to ever make a living off this racket I would definately be living in Vegas. I'd think thats the only way. Who's going to trust that much money in these off shore books.
