I'm just wondering if it has any value and is worth a subscription.

I tried it the first year it was released. I thought it was junk back then. They might have made it better? I don't think it's worth it.

Is this seriously in the handicapper's think tank?
As far as being valuable, it depends on your needs. If your goal is to win at sportsbetting, then it has no value whatsoever.

I think it is great for baseball to get Buster Olney and Jayson Stark's columns. Maybe some of Joe Lunardi's stuff around March Madness time also. Plus you get the ESPN magazine which is decent bathroom reading at times. If none of this appeals to you, then don't waste your time.

Thanks, I think I will hold off for now.

I think Joe Lunardi is getting tenure somewhere and will no longer be posting.

ESPN insider was worth it for the "realtime" scores which you couldn't get without it in the past. This included MLB. Now you can get those without a subscription, and there is no real time MLB in the dropdown anymore. So I cancelled last year, but if you like the magazine it might be worth it.
