I've noticed that if I like a game a lot late on the card, I just can't seem to help myself and wait for that game. Always wind up putting some degenerate bet in early for action.

I have a decent-sized play on the Denver Nuggets tonight, and I also have UTEP. But when I noticed a few hours ago that both games tipped relatively late, I threw in a stupid, worthless bet on Orlando that lost for action purposes only basically. I can't just stick to my guns and play the late game only.

Anyone else have similar problemos?

Have to have action on the 7pm games for no fvking reason and obviously lose more of those than win.

Just do small action parlays for fun in these situations, even throw in a few dogs straight up....keeps you interested in games with minimal risk and a chance for a nice payout

Make your best plays for the night single bets or throw em in the parlay too

Yeah that's why I took Miami tonight. I do this a lot too, and oftentimes it will work out but when it doesn't I kick myself just like you're doing. Selectivity is key, I can only stick to it after I've lost a couple days in a row. Then I get back on track, then I slip again. Vicious cycle we all have to break

Me too...I seem to have more losing Saturdays with college and Sundays in the NFL has been VERY PROFITABLE for me. Too many games in college that go all day long, while NfL have 1 and 4pm games to choose from and I'm able to watch most of them. But you are correct, it's all about discipline and money management. Look at all the CBB all day today. I'm taking Ohio St and W Virg. and that's it. Got to have balance in life and engage in other activities.

But add up my # of plays and look at how much $$$ I put on the table last year. It's in the six figures. Far from disciplined.
