You wouldn't know that from Mike Tirico last night. Pretty much trashed fantasy football as a whole. Topped it off by saying people were paying attention at the end of the game so they can win "some cheesy trophy"

He brought it up to Gruden, half-heartedly.. Gruden, being a former coach, made a short negative comment about garbage time meaning so much in fantasy but being a joke in real life. The Tirico seemed to do a 180 to take Gruden's side and made the cheesy trophy comment.

I can understand Gruden not caring about it, and his response just gave the feeling that he didn't want to waste his time on it. That's fine, but Tirico just seemed like he was trying to fit in so he changed his stance in about 5 seconds.

I actually opted for Carolina defense vs. Cleveland instead. And since I have no bets on this Thursday game either, I really have no reason to watch it.
