    brett brown is no popovich
76ers up 3 with 4 seconds left and memphis with no timeouts. Here's a faking clue coach- YOU FOUL!!!! If you foul you can't lose the game. You can probably guess what happens......... 3 pointer, then ot, then they lose. I mean we all know they are tanking but to lose this game that way is an absolute JOKE AND A DISGRACE!!

Brett Brown doesn't play. It comes down to players making plays.

Here's the comparison the 76ers can't defend the 3 not even when the other team has to attempt one. Oh and one other thing the 76ers are not the Spurs that's why Popovich doesn't foul probably. The Spurs actually have professional players on the floor in a game, the 76ers have 1.

Exactly. Pop is the number 1 coach that does not believe in fouling in that situation.

No mention of Conley making a sick shot btw?

That wasn't awful defense either, it's not like they gave the guy a wide open 3 like the Hornets gave Vince Carter yesterday.

Its possible you could still lose even if you foul, but anyway grabbed some Memphis in play ML and 2nd half, was mad, lead kept getting larger and larger, every time I bet this team its a freaking nailbiter and to think theyve only lost 4 games, was very lucky here, Ill take it.

NBA average of making a 3 pointer= roughly 33%. Average of making a free throw then missing the second one, getting the rebound and make a put back shot in 2 seconds= easily less than 10%. ENOUGH SAID

No one is saying it's not the right strategy. Just the Popovich reference is a bad one.

Btw it is the right strategy in that situation if executed right. Remember these NBA idiots are masters at not fouling at the right time and giving up 3 free throws. Look up the Mavs/Bulls game 10 days ago or so.
