It's always labeled as

Game spread (includes OT)

In the live betting rules:

Spread For the Whole Game (Including OT): Home; Away
Your bet options are Home; Away
Predict whether either team will cover the specified point spread for the match (OT included).

***only thing I can think is he accidentally bet -1.5 for the 4th quarter.
