Flaws are the turnovers + poor red zone execution/play calling. The offense in design works when executed properly because teams are not used to the speed. They can't be since you don't see it often. The teams who see it twice in the NFC East still have trouble slowing it down. It's a matter whether your personnel is good enough to execute. That's why they may look for yet another QB.
The real problem with it is your own defense. They have to be above average and deep & Philly's is not. Their front seven are good with a good rotation, but their corners suck. To me, if you run this offense then your defense needs to be able to make plays when they're out on the field a long time. Especially your secondary.
If they're going to be successful, I think they have to start drafting in hockey terms on defense - almost have two complete units to swap in & out. at minimum, at least get one solid cover corner. They've been missing that element the last two years.Comment -
