You said exactly what I was about to say. If they shake the teams around this much week to week, wtf is the point of releasing a weekly ranking.

I think the committee tipped their hand last week.

They want a Bama/FSU Sugar bowl because of the region factor so they dropped FSU to #4.

They want TCU/Oregon in the Rose Bowl because that would be an awesome game to watch.

Most people on here know I'm a Big 12 guy but I have a problem with putting TCU in over Baylor because Baylor beat them head to head. I also have a problem putting Baylor in because they played trash OOC.

Since Baylor and TCU were co champions and didn't have to play a conference championship game, I would put Ohio State in the Rose Bowl against Oregon in a class Big 10/Pac 12 showdown so the Big 12 will get it's shit together.

Ohio State has been more impressive than TCU and Baylor the last month imo. I watch TCU struggle with Kansas and Baylor struggle with OSU and Tech.

Meanwhile, Ohio State drubbed Michigan State on the road and proved they are legit with their 3rd string QB tonight.

Also, I'm sick of people using quality of loss as a factor. TCU lost to Baylor so they should go in ahead of Baylor because Baylor lost to WVU. Shouldn't the head to head win Baylor has over TCU matter more than who each team lost to?

Shouldn't wins like Ohio State's win over Michigan State trump TCU's loss to Baylor? Who is the best team TCU has beaten? K-State who will finish like #17?

I don't have a problem w tcu in ahead of Baylor despite the loss to Baylor. It was a 3 point gm at Baylor. Home field generally excepted as worth 3(give or take) so dunno why it so easy for ppl to wrap it in a bow sayin tcu can't be ahead due to the loss when it wasn't a neutral site gm and was so close..I'm guessing u put those 2 in a conf championship gm on a neutral field next week and tcu is the fav, wouldn't you agree? Point of the ranking is it good for all the talk all over the network shelling out all the money for this playoff. Of coarse fsu was slid to 4th simply cause of the bama matchup and whether they do it or not no they wouldn't or won't have any problem leapfrogging someone else to 3rd and tcu to 5th. Why would they? They have said as much that it a week to week deal..

I think you can leap Ohio State over TCU.

I'm pissed the Big 12 let teams like Mizzou, A&M, and Nebraska leave and they thought adding TCU and WVU would be sufficient to sustain the league.

i would like like to see a system made up of 6 conferences / 10 teams. 11 games - 9 conference & 2 out of conference. 6 team playoff conference winners. 2 conference champs with best record get1st rd bye. No at large. Regular season means everything. Screw ranking except for breaking ties & seeding playoff. Just let computers rank me like old BCS system. Use bowl system for remaining 54 teams.

Yea I don't like the way mizzou somehow made it to champ gm so I hear ya. I been saying for weeks they luck boxed themselves into this gm today. It just hard for me to except Baylor is more deserving than tcu based off a 3 point home win when we know home field worth those 3 points.. My thinking is on a neutral 2marro tcu would be favored over Baylor. I think they the better team and think frogs/ducks be a really good gm. Maybe Baylor would be as well I just don't think they as good. Shit for most that gm tcu was taking it to them till those last 8 minutes when Baylor went crazy..not like I can sit here and really argue against Baylor cause they did beat them, I just don't care much and kinda like that the committee doesn't seem to either (for now).

I think the argument against Ohio State is how weak the Big 10 is. It's not a great conference. And I think TCU/Baylor had a great chance to land above Ohio State UNTIL Oklahoma lost last night. That hurt the Big 12 a lot, and now I'm beginning to wonder if OSU will make a leap.

By the eyeball test and what I've seen from these three teams (and I watched all three these teams a lot), TCU is the best of the bunch. While Ohio State looked good last night, they also struggled a lot against Indiana and Michigan most recently on their home field. I would put TCU in simply because I think they're the better team. But if you go by deserving, then I think Baylor has the best shot.
