I never understand the "must win" factor here. Players are competitive and go out to try to win whether they are in or out of the playoffs. The Jets will win this game. This game is a trap. Chris Ivory will be able to run all over the Dolphins. Geno Smith is nowhere near as bad as people think. Dolphins are one of those teams that seem to choke in spots over the years like the Lions.

Players and coached come out to win on a weekly basis out of professional pride and competitiveness and to make the playoffs and eventually win a super bowl. A must win based on potential playoff position is a strong factor, if Miami loses this game they fall behind and mostly eliminate their chances to get in.

Do not see Ivory, an average running back, going off against the 2nd ranked run defense in rushing Tds allowed and 7th overall in total yards.

Geno is not that bad from a talent perspective, but he is that bad in a Jets uniform. Jets offensive system is one of the worst in the league, and has been for YEARS. Coaching staff is a joke for offense starting with Rex. Chip Kelly is not some genius that turned Sanchez around, guy was a 1st round pick and one of the most highly touted college recruits so he had the talent, Jets offense system is just awful.

I am a big believer in "any given Sunday" so could the Jets win? Sure. However good teams do not lose 38-3 on a neutral field to a division rival, period. Miami is a good team that matches up extremely well with the Jets few strengths and will crush that weak secondary .

You realize that Miami has a top 5 defense in the league and have played the top QBs in the league right? It was pick your poison against Manning. Do you sit back and pass defense and take your chances against the run or do you crowd the box and bring pressure leaving one on ones on the outside without Finnegan playing. They chose to make someone else beat them not named Manning and it didn't work out. Your saying Ivory is going to run all over us but nobody outside of the Broncos team has done squat against Miamis run D all year until them.
