A's fans must love the fact they traded Donaldson. lol
Second year in a row Beane has traded a big bat. I guess if the pitchers are good it's worth it because I do like Lawrie....but still.

interesting trade. Maybe there was a chemistry issue or something.
very rarely do you see and even swap of 3rd basemen traded for each other.
IMO the Jays got the better player in this deal.
Donaldson is going to love hitting at the Rogers Centre. Much more hitter friendly than the Oakland Colesium.
Lawrie will fit in with that A's clubhouse. They say he drinks about 3 or 4 red bulls every day before the game.

that Jays line-up is going to be sick.
They do need a lefty with some power though in my opinion.
Encarnacion, Bautista, Donaldson all are great power hitters but they need a lefty in that mix.
i guess Russel Martin will be splitting time with Navarro behind the dish.
If the Jays pick up some pitching they will be a force to be reckoned with.

Imo. Donaldson's power disappeared in 2h. His batting average is low. Why not sell high on a guy that probably made his last all star game?(was it his first)

And they just traded pitching. lol
That really is a Righty line up. Besides Reyes who switches, they don't have another decent lefty bat. Melky and Rasmus are both FA's.

If Lawrie stays healthy, it's a steal. He's younger and is capable of putting up the same numbers as Donaldson.

I think Donaldson is a badass. No question.
But Lawrie is basically an even swap, plus he's younger and probably a little more naturally gifted.
A's pretty ballsy trading away their best player.
I hope it doesn't work out for them.

haha Vegas is expecting a better year for your Rangers in 2015. Westgate has them at only 30-1.
That is saying something b/c last year the Astros were better than the Rangers and the Astros are sitting at 150-1

Lawrie is a cancer and can barely play 80 games a year

Last year was an anomaly.
Literally 4/5 of your starting rotation was on the DL by early June.
Rangers finished the year pretty strong. Should at least contend for a playoff spot next year.
