My average bet is only around $50. Sometimes $20, sometimes $100...but usually I walk away with a couple hundred (sometimes more, sometimes I pay in) each week, which is fine with me. I play for entertainment, and it makes me my extra spending cash.

I don't want to end up under a bridge with a shopping cart because I decided to lay it all on the Cowboys this weekend! lol

Not really. I would say someone who bets more would more likely bet less games leading to being more picky and smart. Here is the reasoning why you maybe more successful as a $50 bettor though. As your bankroll increases you naturally bet more.

If you bet $50 and go 20-15 your profit is about $175. Now you decide to up your bets off that profit. Lets say you double that and become a $ 100 dollar bettor. Now you go 18-20. You are now down a couple hundred yet if you maintained the $50 bets you would have a small profit. It is more likely someone with $500 dollar bets will maintain the bets. But in any situation with a increase bankroll you increase bets Meaning you have to keep winning at an even higher % to either increase or just stay where you are at once you build it up a bit and start to increase bets. People get on streaks when they are building a bankroll and then they bet bigger and that streak ends and it just seems like you didn't have success when the bankroll increased. No one thinks much about it if you lose your starting bankroll betting $50 a game. But, when you build it up and start playing for bigger money and the hot sreak ends, you lose it quick and it stays with you
