Any of you guys ever been to Austin? It's got to be the premier college town in America. They've got all those Friday Night Lights Texas high school kids to recruit. Why do they suck?

Texas alumni and administrators have always thought they had THE premier program in the country. Every top player wanted to go there and every coach wanted to coach there. That might have been the case 40 years ago, but no more. It's questionable if UT is even the top football program in the state. The holier-than-thou attitude has been deadly. And, FWIW, Charlie Strong isn't the answer.Comment -

Actually they have a rock solid defense, that offense though is severely handicapped though. The most laughable part is that I had a handicapper call me yesterday and tell me to pound this game and take Texas and the points! WTF was this a joke or what?Comment -
Texas has arrogant backers that do more harm to the program then good. They kept Mack Brown 2 season too long and not to mention, Sumlin has been out recruiting them badly.Comment -
