I am with you... totally addicted to NCAA Basketball. I watch games every night of the week. I usually do great in non-conference but this year I'm struggling and am about even through almost 30 bets. I've been losing very close ones so I think the variance should even out soon. Especially after these tourneys are done and we can start betting home teams with good advantages.

It's the crack of sports betting. All the self-proclaimed sharps claim it's the sport you can pick a conference, get an edge, and clean house, but that takes patience and a trained eye that 99.999% don't have. For most of us it's impossible to avoid the nightly lines and we get suckered into a sport that has no consistency and burns my ass every single year...

I think part of it is you are basically putting your money into the hands of 20 year old amateurs. The NCAA games are often full of ridiculous mistakes, endless missed free throws, so you get a lot of lucky breaks and huge bad beats which makes it doubly exciting/excruciating for the gambler. PLus the games are short and there are so many of them.
