It is too cold for the riders long before it is too cold for the horses.

Generally, they race as long as deem the track to be safe. When you have severe freeze/thaw patterns and it becomes difficult to keep the surface even, that's a problem. Have fun and I hope you hit a few big winners.

ridiculous part was it finished was 1-1A and the 8 finished 4th

could've used the 8 showing, but somehow they don't count 4th as a show when there were only 2 numbers ahead of it (because of the entry finishing 1-2).
