5 Dimes has NCAA Womn's Soccer Lines posted!

OK...hate chalky bets, but I am hot and can't resist the best team in the nation again. Last week UCLA housed San Diego 5-0 and now face an underachieving Harvard team that makes a cross country trip to see absolutely none of the ball. The Bruins are on a mission to repeat with 10 starters back from last year's championship side and I don't think they mess around with an inferior opponent who has not beaten a top 50 RPI side all year. Hoping to make it 8-0.

Ucla beats Harvard 7-0 bringing the NCAA Woman's soccer tournament picks to 8-0. Sweet 16 games are Sunday and a little harder to handicap, but I should have a one or two tomorrow.

5Dimes finally got their NCAA Woman's soccer lines up...I have two plays for today-

North Carolina -1.5 (+350) over South Carolina. South Carolina has been a great defensive side, but their All American goalkeeper is out with an arm injury and their starting centerback was sent off with a red card Friday meaning she is out for this contest. This is 33rd straight year that UNC makes the sweet 16 and while this is not Anson Dorrance's best side they are still top class and at home. The total is set at 1.5, but I don't see South Carolina scoring so I'll bank that UNC can score twice at a juicy +350.

UCLA -1.5 (+110) vs Pepperdine While this is clearly the best team that UCLA will have faced in the tournament it looks to me like they have turned it up a notch (or 10) in defense of their title. I will stay along for the ride.

Darn....we go to 8-2 after today's games. UNC was an embarrassment and UCLA won, but didn't cover.

One final pick for the NCAA Woman's final on Sunday. FSU/UVA Under 3 1/2 -120. I really don't understand this line. These teams played twice already this season with both games going to FSU by 1-0 results. FSU has yet to concede in the tournament. With a National Championship on the line both teams will be conservative. Additionally the FAU field is very tight allowing the defenses to stay compact. This is a strong play for me.

The game is on ESPNU....I have $ 100 (-120) on the game. Not as much as my Foots wagers, but I made about $ 500 total on woman's soccer for the tournament.

Last game anyway since this is the Championship game. Either way if we're able to get down more for a few weeks before they limit us, then we were still able to make some money. I understand what you're saying though but gobucks obviously caps these games well so would be dumb not to take advantage IMO, while it lasts.

Next year Rick......no NCAA woman's soccer lines until the tournament probably. Glad you were along for part of the ride anyway. For those that follow closely woman's soccer is very predictable. I am sure I will have plays for the woman's world cup this summer, but it's defiantly not as handicapper friendly as the NCAA due to lack of history.
