NFL Player News for Week 11 - Thursday Edition
    Thanks to FootballGuys

STL - QB Shaun Hill to start
Source: St. Louis Post-Dispatch - Jim Thomas
St. Louis Rams QB Shaun Hill will start Sunday, Nov. 16, against the Denver Broncos.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Hill is back in the starting lineup for the Rams, and it downgrades all skill position players on the Rams. We're not looking to this offense with much (if any) confidence in Week 11 against the Broncos.

NYG - RB Rashad Jennings expected to play
    Source: ESPN.com - Dan Graziano
New York Giants RB Rashad Jennings (knee) is expected to play in Week 11 unless he suffers a setback during the week, according to head coach Tom Coughlin. Jennings is scheduled to practice Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Fantasy owners have been waiting for Jennings to return, and it looks like that time has come. His all-purpose skill set will be a welcome addition to the Giants offense. We like Jennings as a RB2 with upside in Week 11 against the 49ers.

CIN - RB Giovani Bernard expected to be out
Source: NFL Network - Albert Breer
Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard (hip) is expected to miss Week 11 with a hip injury.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Fantasy owners need to watch this situation closely. Bernard's status is unclear not only for this week--but future weeks as well. Hopefully, Bernard owners were able to scoop up rookie Jeremy Hill on the waiver wire earlier this year.

IND - WR Reggie Wayne resting Wednesday
    Source: Colts.com
Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne (rest) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Just a day of rest here for the veteran. We like Wayne as a WR3 with upside this week against the Patriots.

NE - QB Tom Brady sits out of practice
    Source: WEEI.com - Ryan Hannable
New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Brady's likely just getting some rest here. The Patriots have a huge game this week on the road against the Colts.

SEA - RB Marshawn Lynch sits out Wednesday
    Source: Seahawks.com
Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch (calf) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This is likely just some veteran rest for Lynch. Check back on Friday to see if he pratices fully.

ARI - RB Stepfan Taylor doesn’t do all drills
    Source: AZCardinals.com
Arizona Cardinals RB Stepfan Taylor (calf) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Taylor is the backup behind Andre Ellington, and the team is being cautious with him here.

ARI - RB Andre Ellington limited Wednesday
    Source: AZCardinals.com
Arizona Cardinals RB Andre Ellington (foot, hip) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Ellington has been limited almost all year by this injury. He's a RB1 in a tough matchup against the Detroit Lions in Week 11.

CAR - RB Jonathan Stewart limited
    Source: NFL
Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (ankle) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Stewart should be able to play this week, and he's a RB3/flex play against the weak Falcons defense.

CHI - WR Brandon Marshall misses practice
    Source: Vikings.com
Chicago Bears WR Brandon Marshall (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Marshall feels good about his availability for Week 11. We're not buying it right now, but make sure to check the practice report at the end of the week. If Marshall can practice on Friday, then we'll likely see him play against the Vikings.

CHI - TE Martellus Bennett sits out Wednesday
    Source: Vikings.com
Chicago Bears TE Martellus Bennett (ribs) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Bennett may just be getting veteran rest here. Check back to see if he can practice later in the week.

MIN - Limited practice for TE Kyle Rudolph
    Source: Vikings.com
Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph (hernia) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It looks like Rudolph will be back this week for the Vikings. We'll see if he can practice fully on Friday. He could work his way back to TE1 levels, but in his first week back we like Rudolph more as a 'what the heck' TE2.

DEN - RB Montee Ball fully practices
    Source: DenverBroncos.com
Denver Broncos RB Montee Ball (groin) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 11.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Ball is back in action this week for the Broncos. Nobody knows if he's going to be the starter against the Rams in Week 11. Ball could be splitting time with C.J. Anderson as the Broncos are using a 'hot hand' approach at the position.

CLE - WR Andrew Hawkins limited Wednesday
    Source: FOXSportsOhio.com - Fred Greetham
Cleveland Browns WR Andrew Hawkins (thigh, knee) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 12, and he is looking forward to returning in Week 11 against the Houston Texans. Hawkins still leads the team with 39 catches for 504 yards (12.9 average) and a touchdown despite missing last week’s game.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
We're not sure that Hawkins is going to play this week. He said he feels a lot better but is unsure if he’ll play against the Texans. Stay tuned.

CLE - TE Jordan Cameron misses practice
    Source: HoustonTexans.com
Updating a previous report, Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron (concussion) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Cameron is going through the NFL's concussion protocol right now. It looks pretty doubtful that he is going to play this week for the Browns.

HOU - RB Arian Foster out of practice
    Source: HoustonTexans.com
Houston Texans RB Arian Foster (groin) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It's Wednesday, so this is probably just veteran rest. Check back to see if Foster can practice on Friday.

WAS - Robert Griffin a full go
    Source: Redskins.com
Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (ankle) practiced in full Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Griffin is as close to full strength as he's going to get during the season. Against the Buccaneers, we like him as a mid-range QB1.

BUF - WR Sammy Watkins should play in Week 11
    Source: BuffaloBills.com - Chris Brown
Buffalo Bills WR Sammy Watkins (groin) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 12, and is listed as probable for Week 11.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It's a short week for the Bills as they play the Dolphins on Thursday night. Watkins should be good (enough) to go, and we see him as a low-end WR2 with upside in Week 11.

BUF - RB Fred Jackson questionable
    Source: BuffaloBills.com - Chris Brown
Buffalo Bills RB Fred Jackson (groin) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 12, and is listed as questionable for Week 11.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Jackson was back last week, but he didn't perform like his old self. That should change as he continues to work his way back from this injury.

SD - RB Ryan Mathews a full participant
    Source: Chargers.com
Updating a previous report, San Diego Chargers RB Ryan Mathews (knee) practiced in full Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This is a great sign for Mathews' availability. He should return after a nine-week absence as the team's starter. In his first week back, we like Mathews as a RB2 in Week 11.

SD - RB Donald Brown puts in full practice
    Source: Chargers.com
San Diego Chargers RB Donald Brown (concussion) practiced in full Wednesday, Nov. 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Brown isn't much of a fantasy factor at this point of the year--especially with starting RB Ryan Mathews likely coming back from a nine-week absence due to a knee injury.

MIA - TE Charles Clay questionable
Source: South Florida Sun-Sentinel - Omar Kelly
Miami Dolphins TE Charles Clay (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Clay seems to always be questionable. He's a TE2 every week he's in the lineup.

MIA - QB Ryan Tannehill good to go
Source: The Miami Herald - Armando Salguero
Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill (shoulder, ankle) will undoubtedly start in Week 11 Thursday, Nov. 13, according to a source.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It's a short week for the Dolphins as they play the Bills on Thursday night. Tannehill is going to be out there, but fantasy owners probably have better options at QB. He took a number of hard hits last week, but he injured his right shoulder on a tackle.

TB - Charles Sims' role to gradually increase
Source: Tampa Bay Times - Greg Auman
Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Charles Sims' role is expected to gradually increase as long as fumbles don't be come an issue. RB Bobby Rainey was better at catching passes in Week 10.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Sims has a skill set similar to that of a poor man's version of Matt Forte. We're intrigued by his upside, but the RB/OL situation in Tampa is pretty ugly right now. Sims is nothing but a desperation 'what the heck' flex against Washington in Week 11.
