On paper they shouldn't be this bad. On paper they should be a 38-41 win team. They really have no excuse to under achieve like this. The only teams that should be bottom feeders are young teams like Philly and Orlando, or an over the hill team like the Lakers. Nuggets have plenty of good players who are in their prime (Lawson, McGee, Chandler, Faried, Afflalo). No reason for them to be this bad.

It sounds like there is some pretty hard core animosity between Shaw and some of the players. His post game presser made that quite evident. He changed the players for the second half and praised how they played. Really exposed how bad the first half was and what those players did. Said he's gonna reward "certain" players.

He is really pushing things. Either he knows he's not going anywhere or he wants to leave.

Thought it was the stupidest move ever to fire George Karl. The Nuggets owner reasoning was because their were tired of George Karl one and done in the playoffs. We'll it might be another 10 years before the Nuggets are lucky enough to even get in the playoffs.
