Basically we have a line of

2.5 2.5 2.5 2.5
2.5 2.5 2.5
2.5 2.5

We try to hit a bet of $2.5 4 times and then we start the new line until we have hit all 9 of the 2.5 bets. If we lose we double up and then start the next 2.5 bet. After we have hit all 9 bets and have a profit of $22.5 we then start with the exact same concept using $5. After $5 we go onto $10 and then $20 and then $40 and finally $80. Once that is all complete we will be at a grand total of $1,417.50

I know I am using a very small amount, but that is because I heard chases never work and this is just for fun.

Every bet is individual and seperate, just because you won or lost the previous bet does not have any impact on the chances of the next bet.

Taking a small amount and overbetting to see what you can run it into is actually a very good strategy for most. You can make a lot of money during a hot streak. The problem comes that people don't have the discipline to know when enough is enough and pocket the profit and start over.

I agree there is a lot of discipline involved when doing this. A few months back I did something similar, $200 and change to a little over 5k in one week. The lure of continuing this to a nice chunk of money is what gets me. I think it took me about 4 days to lose it .

Still though if I am able to extend this streak for one more week with the same crazy betting it can turn into a sizable amount. 3450 / 118 is a 29x multiple. 29 x 3400 is 100k ish. I'm mulling over whether I want to continue this crazy mode and see what I can jack it to. After all, when it comes down to it, my real risk is only $118. Hmm I dunno...

I'm afraid a system that can only withstand 3 straight losses is doomed to fail. Although it's smart to limit the chase. I laugh when I see guys chasing 5 or more losses betting hundreds, trying to win $5.

The only system that works is straight bet everything, never chase, bet when there is an edge.
