Rex got so cocky when he first took over (inherited mangini's team and talent)and went to the playoffs , that he started taking all defensive players in the draft and they let solid guys go that were there and never focused on the offense and getting playmakers. Instead Went after guys like Holmes,etc who had bad characters, why, because everyone loves Rex and they want to play for me. So they let a lot of talent go and and Sanchez paid the price after that. Rex brought in Soprano to be his offensive coordinator, ground and pound,LOL
Now Rex keeps saying that he believes Geno is going to be a star and we have 3 great QB's that every team would love to have.....Really??? He said Geno gives us the best chance to win thru 8 games of the season. It's sad that jet fans think Rex was their savior but in reality he did have a hand in turning their organization in the wrong direction... Good to see Sanchez get some sort of redemption and Rex is nothing but a good defensive mind and coordinator like his Father but not head coach material.
