    NBA opinion
its good to wait till teams are 10 games in to seriously bet on them, not saying teams cant fill themselves out sooner, but watching games lately, it seems like the teams are still in preseason the first couple weeks of the season and anything could happen. the teams that run up the score out west arent scoring all that much right now, and last year that was easy money in the bank, im real eager to bet on the NBA cause its action EVERYNIGHT but it be cool to layoff for at least a week or so longer

We know the Sixers, knicks and the bucks are three worst teams in the NBA

ya you might have a point there but the knicks are prone to steal some games at home

I don't touch NBA or NHL until they've played a dozen games and I tread very lightly during the last month of the season.

Yeah, it's been an unpredictable start to the NBA season. I tend to do a lot of o/u bets and I've had a rough go. Low scoring teams out east putting up triple digits and easy 100+ west teams coming in low (LAC for example). I'm hoping things will normalize a bit but even now coming up on 2 weeks into the season it just seems more volatile than past years.

Perfect example was the LAC/POR game today. First quarter was the true wild west - 71 points. The over looked like a sure bet. Ended up barely going over the o205 in the final seconds.

            Tonight's surprises:

GSW/HOU 185 (This could have gone 230 last year)
BOS/CHI at 207 (I thought CHI was supposed to be a good defensive team)
NYK/ATL 199 (I thought these teams both suck and can't score)

            Last night:

CHI/PHI 233 (are you kidding me?)
            NYK/NJN 209 (yeah, I guess the Knicks can't play D)
IND/BOS 199 (I'd have thought this for 185 but for some reason BOS is scoring this year)
DAL holds UTA to 82 points.... since when does DAL play defense??

            Thursday:

            SA/HOU under by 18
            POR/DAL under by 15
Last year I'd have bet my house that the over would cash on at least one of these games.
